1. LIKE
The first way to compare things in sentences is by using the word “like.”
For example, we can say “I like apples” or “She is like her mother.”
When we use the word “like,” we are saying that something is similar to something else.
2. AS
Another way to compare things in sentences is by using the word “as.”
For example, we can say “He is as tall as his father” or “She works as hard as her sister.”
When we use the word “as,” we are saying that two things are equal to each other.
3. THAN
The third way to compare things in sentences is by using the word “than.”
For example, we can say “I am taller than my sister” or “She is smarter than her brother.”
When we use the word “than,” we are saying that one thing is better, worse, or different from another thing.
4. MORE/LESS
The fourth way to compare things in sentences is by using the words “more” or “less.”
For example, we can say “I have more friends than she does” or “She has less money than her brother.”

5. INFERIOR/SUPERIOR

When we use the words “inferior” or “superior,” we are saying that one thing is of lower or higher quality than another thing.

Comparison and contrast are similar in that both involve examining similarities and differences. However, there is an important distinction between the two. In comparison, you focus on similarities between two or more objects (or ideas), while in contrast, you emphasize the differences between them.
For example, if you were comparing apples and oranges, you would look at the similarities and differences between them. You might notice that both have a skin, grow on trees, and contain seeds.
However, they also have differences: apples are typically red or green while oranges are usually orange in color; apples tend to be tart while oranges are usually sweet; and apples can range from small to large while oranges tend to be medium-sized fruit.
Here are some examples of sentences that illustrate comparison and contrast:
